Position: Lifting Engineer
Salary: 17000 AED
Rotation: 45/21
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lifting plans and procedures for all lifting operations in the oil and gas sector.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Review and approve lifting equipment and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on lifting operations.
- Monitor and inspect lifting equipment and ensure regular maintenance and certification.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution of lifting operations.
- Conduct training and workshops on safe lifting practices for employees and contractors.
- Keep updated with industry developments and regulations related to lifting operations and implement necessary changes in company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to lifting operations.
- Experience in developing and implementing lifting plans and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid lifting equipment operation certification.
