We are looking for a skilled and responsible individual to join our team as a Life Guard in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Life Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals at our facility, both in and around the water. You will play a critical role in preventing accidents and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a Life Guard and possess excellent swimming and lifesaving skills. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities: * Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed

• Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.
• Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
• Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required.
• Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
• Supervises and assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment, assists with chlorine residual water tests and with records and charts of water tests and records of accidents, and adds chemicals to pool water as directed.
• Instructs or assists classes in fundamentals of swimming as needed.
• Resolves scheduling conflicts to ensure safe pool environment when competing programs/priorities require use of aquatic facilities..

Preferred Candidate: * \xe2\x80\xa2Lifeguards typically need to be certified in lifeguarding, which includes CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), EIAC (Emirates International Accreditation Center); First Aid & AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training.

• \xe2\x80\xa2Lifeguards must be In good physical condition, as the job often requires swimming, treading water and performing rescue.
• \xe2\x80\xa2Needs to have strong swimming skills. Should demonstrate excellent swimming ability, including endurance and the ability to swim long distances and tread water for extended periods.
• \xe2\x80\xa2Good communication skills. Effective communication is crucial for interacting with the public and coordinating rescues.
• \xe2\x80\xa2Knowledge of water safety. Understanding water safety rules and techniques for preventing accidents is essential.
• \xe2\x80\xa2Good in vision and hearing to observe and respond to swimmer\'s distress.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform rescue techniques and assist with heavy lifting.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
