Ramada Encore Muscat is now seeking a Life Guard to join our team at the hotel location in Muscat, Oman.

Job Summary

The role holder will contribute to the performance of the hotel by assisting in the daily operational requirements of the pool facilities and to provide accurate lifesaving assistance in the hotel area. He / She will be assisting guests' enquiries, complains and setting up related to pool any equipment requirements. It is not the intent of this to cover all aspects of the position but to highlight the most important areas of responsibility.

Education & Experience

Ideally a minimum of one to two years in a similar role

Must have national pool; lifeguard qualification

Certificate in first aid, swimming etc.

General Requirements

Assists and maintains accurate and up to date records of all checklists and relevant administration documents. Maintains a clean and orderly work surrounding within the pool', e.g. pool vacuuming, brushing, deep cleaning, mort cleaning etc. Assists and maintains up to date reports from the plant operator related water treatments. Attends to any emergency drills as and when required. Ensures that lifesaving and safety equipment is available and in good working condition at all times. Keeps proper storage of all equipment in the area of assignment Oversees and ensures proper maintenance of equipment in the area of assignment. Supports the sports animators as per the leisure activity program and when required. Follows procedures of adherence of safety standards, handling equipment or chemicals supplied and safe exercise practices. Keeps a vigilant eye on all swimming pools to ensure that all rules and regulation are strictly adhered to.
