Job Description
Requirements
- Valid UAE Ministry of Justice Legal Translator License (Arabic to English)
- Minimum 2 years of proven legal translation experience
- Strong knowledge of UAE legal and court terminology
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple cases
- Translate and certify contracts, court judgments, corporate documents, and government papers from Arabic to English according to MoJ standards
- Format and prepare translations for official submission, affixing the legal translator's stamp and signature
- Liaise with PROs, legal teams, clients, and government authorities for document submissions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and secure handling of all documents
- Keep updated on UAE legal terminology and law changes affecting translations
- Provide advisory input on wording for official use to avoid misinterpretations
