Job Description


We are seeking a Librarian who is passionate about fostering an engaging and inspirational learning environment for our students.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced librarian, eager to contribute to our world-class school community and committed to delivering exceptional educational support. GEMS educators benefit from a superb school setting where they can implement a dynamic and creative curriculum for motivated learners.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Library Science is mandatory.
A creative and enthusiastic approach within the library and the wider school community.
A collaborative team player, effective both within the library department and across all school phases.
Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills for engaging effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
A strong command of English.
Skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
Exceptional subject knowledge and library management skills.
Extensive experience with the ICSE experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the MYP (Middle Years Programme) and IB (International Baccalaureate) frameworks.
A passion for education and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
GEMS Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of its students and staff. A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
