Job Overview
As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the school library, promoting a reading culture, and supporting the academic development of students through access to diverse resources. You will ensure that the library remains an inviting and purposeful learning hub for all users and actively integrate library services with the British curriculum taught at the school.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization and maintenance of library resources, including digital and print collections
• Guide students in developing research and information literacy skills
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support curriculum delivery through curated resources
• Plan and conduct library-based programs, events, and reading initiatives
• Maintain accurate library records, circulation logs, and catalog systems
• Ensure an inclusive, supportive, and engaging library environment
• Stay updated with trends in educational resources, technologies, and British curriculum alignment

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science is mandatory
• Prior experience in a British curriculum school environment is strongly preferred
• Strong subject knowledge in educational resources and digital library systems
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and administrative staff
• Creative and enthusiastic with a proactive, student-centered approach
