Job Description
The Liaison Engineer (Authority Approvals) is responsible for obtaining all required approvals, permits, and NOCs from relevant government authorities and master developers to ensure smooth execution and completion of fit-out and construction projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesAuthority & Government Approvals
Handle submissions and obtain approvals from authorities such as
Dubai Municipality (DM), DDA, Trakhees, Nakheel, EMAAR, DEWA, Civil Defence, Concordia, RTA
and other relevant entities. Coordinate forNOCs, permits, drawings approvals, completion certificates, and TOC
. Follow up with authorities to ensure timely approvals and avoid project delays.Documentation & Submissions
Prepare and submit required drawings, documents, forms, and applications as per authority requirements. Coordinate with
consultants, designers, and project teams
for accurate submission packages. Maintain proper records of approvals, permits, and correspondence.Project Coordination
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Consultants to align approvals with site schedules. Support the project team during inspections and authority site visits. Highlight approval-related risks or delays to management in advance.
Compliance & Regulations
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and project guidelines. Stay updated with changes in authority rules, procedures, and submission requirements.
Communication & Follow-ups
Act as the main point of contact between the company and authorities. Attend meetings with authorities, consultants, and clients when required. Track submission status and provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management
.2-4 years of UAE experience
in authority approvals for interior fit-out or construction projects. Strong working knowledge ofDM, DDA, Trakhees, Concordia, Nakheel, EMAAR, Civil Defence
approval processes. UAE Driving License preferred.Job Type: Full-time
