Job Summary The Legal Officer is responsible for providing legal advice and support to the organization. They will work with management to identify and assess legal risks, develop and implement legal strategies, and represent the organization in legal proceedings. Responsibilities Provide legal advice and support to management on a variety of issues, including contracts, employment law, intellectual property, and litigation Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and employee handbooks Represent the organization in legal proceedings, such as negotiations, mediations, and trials Stay up-to-date on legal developments and trends Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization\'s legal policies and procedures Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Active membership in the bar of the state in which the organization is located 3+ years of experience in a legal setting, preferably in a corporate or non-profit environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to professional ethics and standards Here are some of the key skills and qualities that are typically required for a Legal Officer role: Strong legal research and writing skills Ability to analyse complex legal issues and develop sound legal strategies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to professional ethics and standards Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
