Job Description
A well-established Abu Dhabi based Investment Firm is seeking a highly capable Legal Director to lead its legal function across a diverse portfolio of entities.
This is a hands-on leadership role--ideal for a seasoned Head of Legal or Legal Director who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and has the ability to balance strategic leadership with technical execution.
The Position:
Key responsibilities for this position will include:
- Overseeing and managing a high-performing legal team across multiple business units and sectors.
- Handling a high volume of commercial contracts, complex agreements, and regulatory matters.
- Providing practical, solutions-oriented advice across the group's operating entities.
- Take the lead on high-risk government tenders and strategic negotiations.
- Develop and implement legal frameworks to support the group's commercial and operational goals.
- Act as a key advisor to internal stakeholders across hundreds of touchpoints.
- 10+ years of legal experience, ideally within a large regional group or conglomerate.
Proven ability to manage legal teams and work under pressure in high-volume settings.
A doer--not just a delegator. Comfortable rolling up sleeves to deliver high-quality legal output.
Experience in government contracting/tenders or highly regulated sectors is a plus.
