Our client is a leading private equity firm based in Abu Dhabi with a range of subsidiary businesses focused on Technology, Renewable Energy and Healthcare across the Middle East and Europe. A newly created opportunity has been created for a mid level Transactional Private Equity Lawyer to support a recently appointed General Counsel with huge plans to expand his legal team. The General Counsel is highly admired on the \xe2\x80\x9cLegal 500\xe2\x80\x9d as a true leader and mentor in his field.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on high value transactions and essentially be a deals M&A lawyer with lots of autonomy and exposure to some of the biggest investment projects in the UAE and EU. You\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on drafting major M&A/Transactional work with a 30% mix of commercial law matters. As part of this role you\xe2\x80\x99ll regularly liaise with the senior management team and key investors where you\xe2\x80\x99ll gain lots of commercial (non-legal) experience.
Candidates must be either Irish, UK or US qualified 4-6yrs PQE with training from an International UK or US Law Firm and evidence of working closely with highly admired Private Equity Firms. Experience of handling M&A Technology deals or relevant knowledge gained in-house is highly advantageous. This is not a Funds focused role, so candidates must have solely focused on M&A Private Equity Transactions.
