ROLE: As a fast moving and changing sector, there\xe2\x80\x99s no absolute set rules about the kind of work you\xe2\x80\x99re going to tackle, but here are some examples of day to day tasks you\xe2\x80\x99re likely to come across:
- Drafting and maintaining regulatory rulebooks, directives, and guidance and creating appropriate framework to assess legal risks.
- Create a tracker for regulatory changes required based on industry and stakeholder feedback.
- Reviewing and advising on legal issues relating to the application of new laws and regulations.
- Structuring, drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide array of commercial and regulatory agreements.
- Legal research on key regulatory initiatives and benchmarking against global regimes.
- You\xe2\x80\x99ll need at least 3+ years of post-qualified experience.
- It\xe2\x80\x99s essential that you\xe2\x80\x99ve got excellent banking / finance / fintech services and products knowledge.
- Your technical knowledge will need to be top class across digital assets, blockchain and payments.
- Ideal candidates will have worked at either a top law firm or in-house environment, and preferably both.
- You don\xe2\x80\x99t have to be based in Dubai right now, but it\xe2\x80\x99s clearly going to help (and overseas applications are of course welcomed).
