JOB TITLE
Legal Counsel | Emirati Talent | Majid Al Futtaim Holding | Legal
ROLE SUMMARY
The Legal Counsel supports Majid Al Futtaim by providing legal, compliance, and risk advisory services to business stakeholders. The role involves researching legal issues, drafting and reviewing contracts and documents, supporting regulatory filings, and responding to business queries. Working closely with senior legal leaders, the position requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and delivery of practical, business-focused legal support.
ROLE PROFILE

• Provide legal, compliance, and risk advisory support to business stakeholders across the organization
• Research and analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and monitor changes in laws and requirements
• Draft, review, and support negotiation of contracts, legal documents, and correspondence
• Respond to legal queries from internal clients under guidance of senior legal leadership
• Support senior counsel on day-to-day legal matters and emerging business challenges
• Assist with regulatory filings and ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Contribute to legal and compliance training initiatives for business teams
• Leverage data, technology, and efficient processes to enhance legal service delivery and governance

REQUIREMENTS

• Law degree with admission to practice and good standing in relevant jurisdictions
• Minimum 2 years of substantive legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment
• Strong understanding of legal, compliance, and business concepts relevant to the role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrates integrity in every action and upholds the highest ethical standards
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively
