Robert Bosch Middle East FZE seeks a legal counsel to support its operations in Dubai, UAE and Middle East Region (\xe2\x80\x9cTerritory\xe2\x80\x9d)

• Report to Head of Legal in Dubai
• Responsible for providing legal advice to the business teams in the Territory on the full range of issues (mainly corporate and commercial).
• Be responsible for drafting, evaluating and negotiating contracts for Bosch business units including but not limited to sales, purchasing, licensing, services, NDAs or other strategic transactions.
• Providing holistic risk assessment and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across multiple areas of the company
• Partner with cross-functional and regional teams to provide support on a wide range of transactional matters
• Provide proactive, in-depth, strategic, business focused advice and support on general commercial matters and transactions.
• Assign external counsel to provide legal advice where necessary, including identifying issues for advice.
• Advise Bosch businesses on legislation in the Territory and implement solutions to address issues
• Ensure legal compliance with the laws of the Territory.
• Work with the business teams to develop legal templates.
• Follow up litigation processes of the company.
• To develop relevant and creative solutions to meet current and evolving business needs

Qualifications

• A law degree (LL.B) is required. Master of laws (LL.M) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years experience ( preferably 5-7 years) as a qualified lawyer or a legal counsel, (preferably) at an international law firm and/or corporate legal department at a multinational company.
• Experience and extensive knowledge of law in commercial legal practice in UAE and Middle East Region.
• Advanced level of English is a must. Arabic language is an advantage.
