:
Purpose: The role holder is responsible to: contracting duties including drafting and reviewing contractual agreements and terminating contracts, task orders, work requests, and all types of agreements and researching current regulations, preparing bidding documents and conducting bidding processes and ensuring all legal.
Key responsibilities & Accountability: \xe2\x80\xa2 Drafting & Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal and state regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assists with reviewing contract and other legal documents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that the terms of contractual agreements are written in language that is legally binding. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency. \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing and/or managing contracts, including tracking documents through the contracting lifecycle, contract compliance items, and keeping organized records. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare contractual agreements using current research methods. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Research regulations to guarantee contracts are updated and in compliance with laws. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining confidentiality of all matters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare Standard Templates for various routine contracts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and communicate SOPs / Requisition list across different cross-functional Business Units to map key commercial/ financial coordination while negotiating contracts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare legal/ contractual/ risk recognition for all contracts/ agreements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other tasks assigned by your line manager.
Qualifications:
- Education \xe2\x80\xa2 Must have a Graduate degree in Law, PG is a plus
- Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 Solid experience in the regulatory field or equivalent relevant legal experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 5-7 years legal experience ideally in a leading multinational Pharmaceutical organization, with a proven track record in contract negotiation and drafting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be skilled negotiator having an excellent understanding in financial and business acumen, and business effect of any legal decisions \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven Track record & key experience with Legal Knowledge to deal government & commercial contract administration is a plus \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledgeable of Commercial Law, with a focus on International Trade Law, Intellectual Property, Company Law. \xe2\x80\xa2 Relationship Management with Governmental Authorities and other agencies \xe2\x80\xa2 A strong understanding of the regulatory environment in the various Geographies of the Globe \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong Knowledge of UAE, GCC, KSA, AFRICA Labor Law is a must & Compliance awareness \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent relationship management and communication skills necessary for interaction with the Government Authorities, the Judicial system and negotiating parties \xe2\x80\xa2 Multicultural & multinational experience will be an added advantage.
