Job Description

WTS Energy is seeking to hire Legal Counsel for one of its clients who is a reputed Power construction and engineering company.

Location: Dubai

Responsibilities:

• Review and lead the contract or agreement negotiation with client or other parities. Including EPC Term Sheet, LNTP Agreement, EPC Contract and related Attachment documentation, Confidentiality Agreements, EPC Sub-Contracts, Design Consulting Agreement, etc. Organize or conduct the negotiations, fully express the company's position to the other parties and maximize the interests of the company;
• Coordinate with related Departments to collect and close comments on Contracts or agreements;
• Make risk-benefit analysis judgments and recommendations. Following up the progress of measures ;
• Able to draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts (Confidentiality Agreements, EPC Sub-Contracts, Design Consulting Agreement, etc.) and participate actively in their negotiation;
• Conduct internal legal training for relevant colleagues;
• Highest ethics and integrity responsibility.
• Other work assigned by Commercial Department Director.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies applicable within your field of.

Requirements

Educational Degree & Certificate

LLB and above

Majors: Legal

Overall Experience:

Five years working experience of Lawyer or in Power/Desalination Project.

Relevant Experience:

Familiar with international contract structure and FIDIC Contract. Prefer if have experience on Construction field.

Computer Skills:

Good

Language Skills:

Fluent in English & Arabic( Read, Write & Speak)
