Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, employment, compliance, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, legal opinions, and other legal documentation. Advise clients or departments on legal rights and obligations under applicable laws and regulations. Conduct legal research and prepare reports or memoranda on various legal issues. Identify legal risks and recommend ways to mitigate or manage them. Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and ensure business compliance. Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary for litigation or specialized matters. Support dispute resolution or negotiation efforts with legal input. Assist with company policy development to ensure legal best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is required; LLM or postgraduate legal studies is a plus. Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Minimum [3-7] years of relevant legal experience, preferably including consultancy or in-house legal advisory work. Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law. Proven ability to interpret laws, regulations, and policies. Excellent communication, research, and negotiation skills.
