Job Description
Okadoc is looking for a talented corporate lawyer to join our global community. We are the GCC's first one-stop-shop patient engagement platform, seamlessly connecting doctors and patients. From our instant, fully integrative online appointment booking platform to an array of home healthcare solutions, Okadoc aims to improve the healthcare experience for all. As the corporate lawyer you will manage all our company's legal and compliance matters. Your principal goal will be to guarantee that all our company's activities comply with local laws and regulations. Other duties will include leading all regulatory matters and ensuring the company maintains its high standards of corporate governance. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills, with sharp attention to detail and a self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.

- Drafting and reviewing all legal agreements including commercial contracts, employment and vendor agreements.
- Design and oversee the company's policies on all legal, compliance and governance matters.
- Staying informed of relevant new and existing laws and regulations.
- Protect the company against legal risks.
- Examine the legal issues related to new products and services.
- Manage regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Maintaining knowledge of organisation's operations and legal documents.
- Managing organisation's trademarks and intellectual property
- Handling all relevant statutory filings.
- Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
- Manage all legal aspects of entity formation, joint venture partnerships, M&A and fundraising.
- Executes and maintains all required official corporate filings, documents, reports and records as per local laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in a managerial role.
- BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree
