to support the Legal & Compliance team. The role will handle daily legal affairs, contract and case management, and provide legal support and risk advisory for investment projects and new business initiatives across the Middle East.
Key responsibilities
Manage company legal matters, including contract review, negotiation support, execution tracking and centralized contract filing.
Oversee case management: maintain litigation and dispute files, track key dates, and coordinate with external counsel when required.
Provide legal support for investment transactions and new business launches (due diligence, contractual and regulatory review).
Draft, review and proof legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
Deliver practical legal and risk-management advice to internal stakeholders (Operations, Commercial, Finance).
Maintain up-to-date legal archives, case records and document control systems.
Prepare concise legal memos, research summaries and internal guidance on commercial or regulatory matters.
Perform other legal administrative duties as assigned by the Legal Manager.
Qualifications & experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Law (LLB, LLM or equivalent).
At least 1 year of relevant legal experience in the United Arab Emirates (in-house or law firm experience preferred).
Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
Solid understanding of contract law, corporate/commercial legal processes and basic compliance principles.
Strong attention to detail, high sense of responsibility and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work effectively within a small team.
Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with document management systems is an advantage.
Desirable skills (optional)
Experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or international trade.
Prior exposure to cross-border investment or commercial project support.
Basic familiarity with UAE regulatory environment.
Compensation & benefits
Monthly salary:
AED 5,000 - 7,000
(depending on experience).
Year-end bonus: calculated on a base of
2 x monthly salary.
