Job Summary:

The Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to the company's management and departments. This role involves ensuring the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, managing legal risks, and representing the company in legal proceedings when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide sound legal advice and counsel to the management on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, and other legal documents. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations across jurisdictions relevant to the business. Identify and evaluate legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Liaise with external legal counsel as required and coordinate on litigation or legal proceedings. Represent the company in legal matters, including court cases, arbitration, and dispute resolution. Develop and update internal legal policies and ensure staff compliance with the same. Advise on intellectual property rights, trademarks, copyrights, and licensing matters. Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations. Train or brief internal teams on legal issues, contracts, or compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); Master's degree or specialization in corporate law is an advantage. Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s). Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in a legal advisory or in-house counsel role. Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and labor laws. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Attributes:
