About the role

One of our associates, a fast-growing fintech company specializing in secure, high-performance payment solutions, is looking for a

Legal Advisor

to join their team. This role will support the business across a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and operational matters. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage legal risk, and enable the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

: Ensure compliance with applicable legal frameworks across key jurisdictions. Assist with license acquisition processes and regulatory filings. Work closely with internal teams to assess and mitigate legal risks. Liaise with regulators and local agents to support ongoing compliance.

Corporate Governance & Legal Advisory

: Provide legal advice to leadership on corporate governance, finance, digital assets, M&A, and other legal issues affecting the business.

Contract Negotiation & Drafting

: Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of a wide range of commercial contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, NDAs, and service-level agreements.

Requirements:

Legal Expertise

: 3-4 years of legal experience, ideally within the fintech, financial services, or digital assets sector. Knowledge or certification in data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) is a plus.

Regulatory & Risk Experience

: Familiarity with legal risk management and regulatory compliance, particularly in matters involving financial instruments, international law, and digital assets.

Strong Commercial Acumen

: Ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with a practical, business-minded approach.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Agile & Solutions-Oriented Mindset

: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-border environment. A collaborative and pragmatic approach is essential.
