Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Role Purpose:

To support the Legal Affairs Division by providing expert advice on crucial legal issues pertaining to area of expertise with the objective of protecting QMA from any external legislative and regulatory threats.


Duties and Responsibilities:




Provide legal advice and support to various departments. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Draft, review, and revise legal documents and contracts. Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws. Assist in the development of QM policies and procedures. Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary. Mitigate legal risks by implementing effective strategies. Work on dispute resolution and litigation matters. Conducting administrative investigations with employees regarding violations attributed to them in accordance with the law and established procedures. Providing legal advice to members of the legal team . Qualifications/Requirements:Knowledge of Qatar Law, regulations and legal systems in the country. Knowledge of government/commercial contract administration. Excellent language skills in English and Arabic. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office. Advance use of office software, particularly in writing and editing of documents and spreadsheets. Demonstrate knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices. Knowledge in policies and procedures, design and implementation. * Demonstrate knowledge and skills of strategic planning and leadership.
