POSITION DESCRIPTION Lead a full training course based on Amideast standards, in order to improve students\xe2\x80\x99 skills and to prepare them for advanced level of LEED Program. RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply the best teaching, learning methods and best practices to meet the needs of the attendees and make it interactive.
Plan and implement lesson plans that are aligned to the program curriculum and incorporate the provided educational materials.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, online training skills, planning skills, and interpersonal skills.
Design, develop and maintain test preparation materials
Encourage students to interact, read and do searches concerning the course\xe2\x80\x99s subject
Assign Homework to the students, to keep them more involved in the course\xe2\x80\x99s subjects
Track student progress and submit reports to the Program Manager as per Amideast timeline
Monitor students\' progress & achievements to ensure score achievement
Conduct the assessment plan as per Amideast\xe2\x80\x99s Monitoring and Evaluation standards to assess improvement and learning gains among students.
Maintain and complete the student attendance sheet on daily bases.
Deliver teaching hours as per the course agenda without any changes to the start and end time unless agreed to by Amideast.
Answer student questions based on reliable scientific reference.
Remain up to date with developments in the field and subject matter.
Work with each student/aspirant closely to understand their knowledge gap and help them close it by conducting various exercises. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSRequired
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or any other related field/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering is an advantage
Must be a LEED Green Associate and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
Must be certified in LEED for Building Design and Construction
Have background in sustainability, environmental studies/science, building operations, property management, engineering, or architecture/design
Must have at least 2-3 years of teaching experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of exposure to LEED v4 and green building concepts through education, volunteering, or work experience in the past 2 years
Must have delivered LEED Green Associate training previously
Must have delivered LEED AP Training previously
Passionate about helping building staff understand LEED concepts and process, prerequisites, and credits and how they are applied to a building
Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with students from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds
Have the ability to use digital platforms to instruct, communicate, and record program data
Fluency in written and spoken English is required, Proficiency in Arabic is preferred
Excellent organizational and analytical skills WORK ENVIRONMENT The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office
