Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement LED lighting solutions for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in compliance with UAE standards and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to create efficient, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing lighting designs.
Perform site inspections and assessments to ensure proper installation and functionality of LED lighting systems.
Analyze and optimize lighting performance with energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness in mind.
Stay updated with the latest LED technologies and industry trends applicable to the UAE market.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project proposals.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations specific to the UAE.
Troubleshoot and resolve lighting system issues during and after installation.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement of LED components and materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field.
Minimum 1-5 years of hands-on experience as an LED Light Engineer, with at least 2 years of experience working on projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards, and lighting regulations.
Proficiency in lighting design software such as DIALux, Relux, or similar tools.
Experience with LED driver specifications, power management, and thermal management.
Familiarity with sustainable lighting solutions and energy-saving technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multicultural teams.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of smart lighting systems and IoT integration.
Experience with LEED certification or other green building standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
UAE driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
