The Leasing Consultant plays a critical role in the success of the property by leasing available apartments, providing excellent customer service to current and prospective residents, and supporting the overall property operations. You will act as the face of the community, helping potential residents find their ideal home while ensuring high occupancy rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist prospective residents, showing available units and highlighting features/amenities
Manage the entire leasing process--from initial contact to move-in
Conduct follow-ups via phone, email, and text with prospective residents
Process applications, verify qualifications, and prepare lease agreements
Ensure leasing goals are met or exceeded
Address resident concerns and provide exceptional customer service
Conduct market surveys and stay informed about local rental trends
Assist with move-ins, renewals, and property tours
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus)
Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
Professional demeanor and appearance
Bilingual abilities a plus
