Egypt Education Platform is looking for a dedicated

Learning Support Assistant

to join our fantastic team at

GEMS British International School of Madinaty

starting in January 2026. This role is essential for providing tailored support to students with a range of learning needs, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages academic and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of individualized support plans for students with special educational needs. Work closely with classroom teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to cater to the diverse needs of students. Support students in small groups and individually, helping them to develop their skills and confidence. Track and assess student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents. Encourage positive peer interactions and support the development of social skills among students. Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in educational support. Help maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners.

Requirements

A qualification in Education, Special Education, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational role is advantageous. Good understanding of various learning difficulties and effective support strategies. Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with students, teachers, and parents. Empathy and patience with a strong dedication to helping students succeed. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a challenging educational environment. Commitment to promoting inclusive practices within the classroom.
