The InterContinental Hotels Group\xc2\xae properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn. In addition to over 1000+ bedrooms, the four properties boast a selection of high quality restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800 square meter Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000 square meters Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day
  • Performs general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, correspondence, scheduling classroom training, appointments, meetings, and any other queries.
  • Assist in preparing all administrative documents for L&Q such as training decks, learning reports, training attendance, and expense reports, using digital tools.
  • Ensure proper filing of training records and documentation as per the Audit/ Brand requirements as required (digitally and physically).
  • Responsible for scheduling and organising all in-house classroom training, including but not limited to; email communication, venue BEOs, transportation, meals, training attendee sheets, and in-class co-facilitation.
  • Managing the office operation of training inventory/equipment such as raising external purchase requests for learning journals, activities, brand collateral, expense reports and Heart of the House posters. In-house colour printing will be done from the HR office.
  • Assist with supporting and guiding our departmental trainers regarding Training, Quality or Brand related needs.
  • Responsible for achieving the goals and objectives of the department, brand and company including external and internal audits to maintain company certifications accordingly.
  • Responsible for IHG Academy and all Interns\xe2\x80\x99 such as scheduling, meetings, data plans and system training.
  • Attend all meetings as required by L&Q.
  • Attend to telephone and email enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to perform any other duties as the management may reasonably request.
What we need from you
  • Good communication and administrative skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated, organized and demonstrate good teamwork.
  • Fluency in English, a second language would be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook)
  • Pro-active approach, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree is an advantage.
  • Active, energetic and dynamic
  • Ability to be available in the different business units and functions.
