Job Description

Apt Resources is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Learning & Development Senior Officer to join a dynamic HR team in Qatar. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive training solutions to empower employees and foster a culture of continuous learning within our organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating effective training programs that align with the strategic goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities::

Assess organizational and individual development needs to identify training needs. Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs that meet identified training needs. Collaborate with department heads to create tailored training initiatives that support departmental goals. Facilitate training sessions using a variety of techniques and methodologies to ensure effective learning. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Maintain training records, schedules, and compliance with quality standards. Research new training tools and methods to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of training programs. Promote a culture of learning and development within the organization by encouraging teamwork and sharing best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering + Master's Degree in Management (HR/Learning & Development is preferable or, Master's Degree in Management, specializing in Human Resources or Learning & Development Professional certification in Learning & Development (e.g., CTDP, CIPD, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) is an advantage. 10 years of experience in similar roles in large companies, of which at least 5 years are in positions demonstrating strong leadership / advisory skills. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in designing training materials and using learning management systems. Proven experience in training needs analysis. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and project management skills. Good understanding of power/energy and water sectors, emerging trends and technologies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).
