The worldwide Apple Retail Engagement Marketing and Merchandising (REMM) team defines, makes and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives and experiences that help Apple Retail's customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple's products and services, and does so in a manner that is true to our values. As the Learning & Development Field Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving training and communication excellence in Apple Retail markets, ensuring that learning initiatives align with business objectives and elevate the performance of our teams. This role requires a highly experienced, strategic training professional with deep expertise in learning design, facilitation, and coaching across multi cultural and matrixed environments. You'll collaborate with key partners across our worldwide Retail Engagement, Marketing and Merchandising (REMM), Market Directors/Leaders, People teams, and Global Retail Support (GRS) to assess needs, deliver impactful programs, and develop a culture of continuous learning. You will also lead training events, influence executive stakeholders, and shape the future of training across Apple Retail in the UAE, India, and beyond.




Description





- Partner with Global Retail Support, Market Directors and Leaders, and People teams to assess training needs and consult on the strategic deployment of L&D programs across diverse markets. Share insights and best practices to ensure relevance and consistency of implementation. - Design, deliver, and oversee all aspects of facilitation of foundational, role-specific, and leadership development content in both in-person and digital formats. Serve as a key contributor or lead for REMM learning events such as New Store Openings, Coaching at Apple, and Inclusive Leader as well as events. - Act as a program manager for regional learning initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and evaluation with precision and accountability. - Guide and coach market teams and on-demand facilitators to ensure quality assurance and sustainability of training delivery. Provide feedback and mentorship to build facilitation capability across the region. - Ensure training and communication solutions are culturally relevant and compliant across markets like the UAE and India. Support communication and change initiatives that develop a learning-focused culture. - Contribute to feedback loops for ongoing product and strategy enhancement. Leverage data, KPIs, and insights to iterate and evolve programs in partnership with the EMEIA and global teams. - Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, including C-suite leaders. Represent Internal Engagement in Country strategic discussions, influence decision-making, and balance local needs with global priorities. - Support and validate execution of Internal Engagement programs across regions through regular domestic and international travel (approximately once per quarter).




Minimum Qualifications



Demonstrated ability leading training or employee experience strategy and execution, ideally across multiple countries in a matrixed, global organisation. Proven ability to develop and deliver high-impact learning programs in hybrid and digital formats, with exceptional facilitation and presentation skills. Skilled in leading complex projects across multiple locations, with a meticulous and iterative approach. Strong experience coaching teams and influencing without authority. Able to develop field trainers and operations partners with a hands-on, collaborative style. Successful track record working in diverse cultural settings, with a sensitivity to multicultural dynamics and local norms. Experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, including navigating complex stakeholder perspectives. Collaborative team player with flexibility, enthusiasm, and a growth mindset. Demonstrated effectiveness within global companies with headquarters in the U.S. or Europe and within highly matrixed organisational structures. Strong analytical approach with the ability to use data to drive decisions, improve outcomes, and demonstrate program ROI. Outstanding written and verbal communication in English; confident presenter across levels and cultures.


Preferred Qualifications



Experience working in the Middle East and India. Knowledge of local labour and compliance requirements (UAE & India). Professional certifications in L&D (e.g., CIPD, ATD). Background in psychology, change management, or internal communications. Strong planning and project management skills Fluency in Hindi and/or Arabic is a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required. Familiarity with Apple hardware and software is a plus.
