Learning Content Developer - Leadership Development



Location: Remote

Engagement Type: Freelance / Project-Based

Project Overview



We're looking for a freelance Learning Content Developer to support the design and development of high-impact leadership development programs for emerging and experienced leaders. This project is ideal for an experienced instructional designer with a strong understanding of adult learning, leadership frameworks, and digital learning delivery.

Scope of Work



Content Design & Development



- Design and develop engaging, high-quality learning content for leadership development programs.

- Convert leadership models, competencies, and behavioral frameworks into learner-friendly formats.

- Create facilitator guides, participant workbooks, toolkits, and microlearning content.

Digital Learning & Tools



- Build e-learning modules using tools like Articulate Rise/Storyline, Canva, or other platforms.

- Design content for blended learning (e-learning + workshops + on-the-job application).

- Deliver SCORM-compatible and platform-ready content for client LMS or LXP.

Customization & Consulting



- Offer strategic input on learning structure, sequencing, and interactivity.

- Incorporate scenario-based learning, leadership simulations, and behavior modeling.

Feedback & Iteration



- Revise and adapt content based on stakeholder feedback and learner insights.

- Provide post-delivery handover documentation or updates as required

Ideal Profile



- 5+ years of experience as an instructional designer or L&D content developer.

- Proven experience creating leadership development content (preferably for first-line, mid-level, or senior leaders).

- Deep understanding of adult learning theory, leadership models, and experiential learning methods.

- Skilled in using tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Canva, Vyond, Adobe Captivate, or similar.

- Strong visual storytelling and content writing skills.

- Familiarity with coaching frameworks, 360 feedback, and soft skills content is a plus.

Bonus Skills



- Experience with virtual facilitation and converting content into self-paced learning.

- Understanding of global leadership trends, DEI, emotional intelligence, or agile leadership.

- Ability to create branded, visually appealing learning materials aligned to style guides.
