Key Responsibilities
Lead the application, preparation, and coordination of
Permit to Work (PTW)
processes.
Supervise site activities to ensure safe execution in line with company safety management system requirements.
Verify that all required permits, risk assessments, and certificates are in place before work begins.
Communicate with supervisors, contractors, and workers regarding work scope, hazards, and safety controls.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and site regulations.
Monitor work progress and stop work in case of unsafe conditions or PTW violations.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers understand job hazards and control measures.
Maintain proper documentation and daily records of all PTW activities.
Report incidents, near misses, or any unsafe observations to the Safety/Operations Management.
Liaise with relevant departments for permit approvals, modifications, or cancellations.
