The Role of the Lead Spa Therapist:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Lead Spa Therapist to join a new takeover project in the UAE: Al Zorah Beach Resorts in Ajman, UAE, as it embarks on an inspiring transformation journey. This evolution will culminate in the grand opening of Four Seasons Resort Ajman at Al Zorah in late 2026.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
The Lead Spa Therapist serves as a role model for the therapist team, ensuring service excellence, mentoring junior team members, and supporting day to day spa operations alongside management.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee therapist performance and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring.
  • Conduct daily training sessions or refreshers to maintain high treatment knowledge and consistency within the team.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new therapists and ensure they are fully prepared to perform treatments to standard.
  • Ensure strict adherence to treatment protocols, brand SOPs, and LQA standards at all times.
  • Support the Spa Manager in scheduling and effective resource allocation based on business demands.
  • Perform routine treatment room checks to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Handle professional product inventory, ensure accurate consumption tracking, and place replenishment orders as needed.
  • Assist in performance reviews or evaluations by providing input on technical and service delivery standards.
  • Be the first point of contact for therapists in case of treatment related queries or challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven expertise in delivering high standard massage, facial, body treatments, and Hammam rituals within a luxury spa environment.
  • Knowledge of wellness trends and product ingredients.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort environment.
  • Proven ability to uphold and deliver services in line with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) or Forbes standards
  • Previous experience in training, mentoring, or supervising spa therapists is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of spa protocols, hygiene standards, and product ingredients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a guest-centric approach.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
