Job Description
About the role
Within STI team as a lead Software developer:- Technically design, build, and develop the software against agreed requirement specifications.
- Design and implement new applications on Microservices architecture and private Cloud platforms.
- Deliver high quality code as a full stack developer.
- Perform/Manage unit, regression testing before delivering the software for QA.
- Perform code reviews and code merges for maintenance and scope releases.
- Maintain and build the knowledge base, provide application technical design documentation.
- Provide support to production according to defined SLA.
- Ensure stability and availability of developed applications.
- Contribute to applications evolution and enhancement.
- Ability to play a Product Owner/Proxy PO role within the agile development team.
- Ability to act as a scrum master with the development team and the stakeholders.
- Participate in project review & design meetings.
- Propose or contribute to mock-ups and transpose into front-end code.
- Contribute to new projects qualification.
About you
Technical skills :- Confirmed experience in object-oriented languages and MVC architecture (ability to develop in Javascript, PHP, NodeJS, Python, , Go…).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and capability to propose innovative solutions to business problems.
- Confirmed experience in building good user ergonomics based on technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript.
- Ability to propose and define mock-up using tools like Adobe XD or equivalent.
- Must have a good understanding of DevOps environments, Agile methodologies, CI/CD Pipelines.
- Strong experience in RESTFUL API development.
- Understanding of IP networking fundamentals TCP/IP, routing, Switching.
- Knowledge of BPMN workflows is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud environment & virtualization (Linux KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).
- Team working, good interpersonal skills.
- Open-mindedness, technical creativity.
- Proactive personality, self-motivated.
- Preference for diverse culture and international environment.
- Advanced knowledge of French and English languages.
- Effective communication.
- Transversal Management and Coordination.
- Share expertise and knowledge with team members to guide them during project implementation.
- A formal degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer science or equivalent.
