Job Description
Mark Williams is working with a leading bank in Dubai to hire a Lead Software Engineer who will drive digital transformation initiatives, implement Agile practices, and lead the development of modern software architectures
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development team in implementing Agile and CI/CD practices for digital transformation
- Oversee full-stack Appian application development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Architect and implement container-based solutions, APIs, and cloud migration strategies
- Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality coding standards
- Collaborate with product owners to prioritize the backlog, refine user stories, and drive innovation
- Manage vendor relationships and offshore development teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in Full Stack Appian development, including Java, SQL, and Web Services
- Strong expertise in Appian BPM, SAIL, Smart Services, and integration capabilities
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based architectures
- Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle/SQL Server) and Appian administration
- Banking industry experience and RPA knowledge are an added advantage
