About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished

Lead Mechanical Engineer

to oversee the electro-mechanical design and delivery of major wastewater and sewage infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the design of large sewage pumping stations, odour control systems, and ventilation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, coordination, and technical development of electro-mechanical systems for large sewage pumping stations. Oversee the design and integration of odour control units and ventilation systems for wastewater facilities. Review and validate mechanical design calculations, specifications, and engineering drawings. Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations. Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance on all mechanical deliverables. Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and presentations as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of experience

leading electro-mechanical design for large sewage pumping stations, odour control units, and facility ventilation.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent.

Professional qualification

such as

MIMechE

or equivalent is required. Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems for wastewater infrastructure. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
