Partner with the best

As a Lead Materials Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Works with supply chain to translate the demand into physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements. Responsible for Material Data Management (MDM) & Managing inventory parts.

As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for:
  • Analyzing incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
  • Planning and scheduling Material timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
  • Managing MRP to ensure the proper material availability for execution plan
  • Working with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)
  • Performing various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
  • Implementing inventory stocking strategies
  • Monitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
  • Ensuring proper data management process in ERP
  • Collaborating effort with different functions to validate item attributes
  • Ensuring proper migration/interface of BOM\'s (Oracle, team center)
  • Fixing any issue related with data integrity in MRP that can affect the proper planning and scheduling execution
  • Implementing inventory stocking strategies
  • Providing updates to inventory projections and creates mitigation plans as needed.
  • Reviewing Slow Moving Inventory (SMI) with regions and involves other functional groups to reduce SMI risks.
  • Forecasting inventory reserves and work create action plan for mitigation
  • Working with the demand planner to create the netted demand plan
  • Working with the supply planner to implement stocking strategies for local providers
  • Working with regions to phase in new product inventory and develop plans for effectively managing replaced inventory

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience
  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Have Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
  • Have intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
  • Have the ability to work with and influence stakeholders
  • Have strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
Desired Characteristics:
  • Certifications; APICS Certification
  • Developing methods and programs to optimize the utilization of inventory
