Rackspace has been commissioned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to assure the build of a sovereign multi tenant private cloud that we have designed. Under contract Rackspace will fulfil 3 strategic functions, led by the Delivery Director, as part of a 3 year programme, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

1. Design and Build Assurance - Overseeing the plans, schedule and build of 20 vendors, individually deploying to install and configure their infrastructure, according to the schedule and standards laid down by Rackspace

2. CMP Development - Designing, Building and releasing MVPs into service which allow firstly administration functions to be created and utilised, leveraging automation, and subsequently building in further automation and service controls

3. Strategic Advisory - Against a designed TOM laid down by Rackspace, supporting the mobilisation of resources, executing a training strategy, and providing expertise to build out the cloud management office

Frequent travel (potentially relocation) to Saudi Arabia will be required.

Arabic language skills will be highly advantageous. \

Job Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization
• Perform analysis and assessment of certain system structures to include Vendor designs, CMP integrations and Architecture
• Evaluate tools, approaches and policies for compliance with best practice
• Create data and workflow models to visualize the integrations
• Provide guidance to develop and implement best practice integration solutions based on code/remediation and appropriate tooling, process and/or workarounds
• Develop data strategies and data architecture documentation
• It will be a core requirement that all solution approaches will be laid out, explained, controlled, governed and executed according to best practice standards and customised for pragmatic adoption based on a combination of Rackspace lessons learnt and constraints within the client environment.

Specifically the Integration Architect will:

• Maintain and control a holistic view of build standards and tooling
• Perform gap analysis, assess remediation and solution opportunities and document outcomes
• Establish document storage approaches to govern and control
• Document solutions and demonstrate integration designs to the satisfaction of the client
• Provide wide ranging expert support to tooling vendors, hardware vendors and application providers
• Act as the integration and SPO Expertise to the Chief Architect

Products

• Create and control the master list for gap analysis, remediation and solutions
• Create and provide in a timely manner workflows, designs and approaches

Execution

• Lead the engagement with the customer
• Identify and manage all stakeholders
• Manage and direct efforts within scope according to the technical and business priorities
• Ensure the creation, deployment and efficient management and control of all vendor build details and adherence to build principles inserted into an appropriate CMDB and aligned to process for problem to resolution.

Changes

• Commercially assess the viability of each change and negotiate and explain decisions made
• Work with the Client executive to manage all and any out of scope requirements and new opportunities

Core product production

• The Integration Architect will be responsible for all products and quality of those products throughout the life cycle of the engagement.
