  • Professional Certification: Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., IET, IEEE, ISA).
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the design, engineering, and implementation of ICA systems.
  • Must have at least 5 years of recent, demonstrable experience specifically leading the ICA design for large-scale sewerage or water/wastewater projects in the UAE or Gulf region, working under similar constraints and standards.
  • Proven track record in handling the full project cycle for multi-million dollar infrastructure projects.
Essential Skills & Competencies
  • Expert Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in ICA hardware, software, SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell), industrial networks, and telemetry systems for water/wastewater applications.
  • Standards & Regulations: In-depth knowledge of ADWEA, DEWA, or similar utility standards, as well as IEC 61131, ISA, and cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead engineering teams, manage complex projects, and make critical technical decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative and practical solutions.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and present to stakeholders at all levels.
