Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and creative

Lead Facade Designer

to head the facade design function for our projects based in Al Quoz. The successful candidate will lead the design development of complex facade systems, coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, and ensure innovative, buildable, and cost-effective facade solutions that meet project, aesthetic, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the facade design process from concept development through detailed design and IFC drawings. Develop innovative facade solutions including aluminum, glass, curtain wall, cladding, and architectural envelope systems.. Review and approve facade shop drawings, material selections, samples, and technical submissions. Ensure designs comply with project specifications, local authorities' regulations, international standards, and performance requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to facade designers and draftsmen. Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments. Support tendering and estimation teams with technical inputs and design clarifications. Coordinate with fabrication and site teams to resolve design-related issues during execution. Attend design meetings, client presentations, and technical workshops as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

10-15 years

of facade design experience, with at least

3-5 years in a lead or senior role

. Strong experience in aluminum and facade systems (curtain wall, unitized systems, stick systems, louvers, cladding). Proven experience working on high-rise, commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects in the UAE/GCC. In-depth knowledge of facade engineering principles, materials, and performance criteria.
