Job Description

:

  • Defines the future state technology stack supporting modern components that enable rapid application deployment.
  • Investigate key architectural
choices with the responsible architects to evaluate the best option for the bank.
  • Experience working as individual contributor & virtual teams to get
the deliverable out of the door. o Adoption of API and Microservices, Drive External API, Internal API , API Connect and Microservices Adoption PAN Bank
  • Defines a vision that traverses the technology stack from User-Experience /
Customer-Experience, data-driven strategic analysis and customer insights,
cloud provisioning and embedding digitally enabled scalable architecture. o
Strong awareness of Open-Source Architecture and Standards o Security
Architecture and Standards o Explore new technology in market and ability
to work with quick POC's. o Recommends right licensing models. o Provide a
clear Architecture Road map to the senior management to transform
obsolete technology to a robust platform. o Strong organizational, team
building and leadership qualities. Senior Stakeholder Management o Creates
conceptual architecture documentation based on Banks digital strategy. o
Define and implement key strategic technology platforms and solutions for
the future growth and success of the business. o Ability to challenge the
Technology solutions provided by various Vendors and in-house teams to
propose an optimal solution. o Ability to create heatmaps and identify
hotspots in the current application landscape and provide solutions to rectify.
  • Optimize the Technology assets by consolidation of existing applications
and remove redundancies and cost saves. o Experience in Azure cloud
services. o Functional and technology knowledge on major banking
applications. Domain Knowledge in Banking / Financial Services o Experience
in Integration / API Architecture: JSON, REST, SOAP, XML, Azure cloud
managed services , AKS, Docker, Open API specification o Accountable for
the appropriateness of technology architecture solutions delivered to the
technology teams of the bank. o Provide appropriate inputs to the senior
management for critical decisions for strategic investment in Technology. o
Advice the senior management in latest technology trends in banking like
mobility, big data etc and generate use case for the implementation. o Take
initiatives in implementing source control and release management process.
  • Guide all the technology teams in stability of applications and platforms by
providing critical inputs on various aspects like performance testing,
performance tuning etc o Experience defining functional and non-functional
application requirements. Classification: Internal Use o Experience working
with online commerce and omni-channel retail business practices. o

Experience working with an Agile DEVOPS development methodology using
continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. o Cross
border team management experience Knowledge of architecting micro-
services applications. o Advanced Vendor Management skills Knowledge of
server-less architecture and developing applications in this fashion. o Cloud
Certification is preferred DevOps processes and tools including continuous
integration and deployment.
Key Result Areas o Explore & recommend new technologies supporting
Cloud, On Prem Applications o Conduct architecture awareness sessions with
multiple lines of business tech units. o Present Solution designs and seek
approval in Architecture review boards o Should be strong in solution design.

technology vendors and partners that align with the enterprise architecture
strategy. o Makes decisions regarding the adoption and integration of new
technologies within the organization. o Prioritizes projects and initiatives
based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic importance. o
Determines risk mitigation strategies and has the authority to implement
measures to address potential risks. o Grants approvals for architectural
designs, plans, and changes to ensure they meet organizational standards
and objectives. o Takes full accountability for the outcomes of architectural
decisions and their impact on the organization. o Provides strong leadership
and direction to the architecture team, ensuring alignment with business and
technology goals. o Manages relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring
