TECHNICAL (REFINING) Experience & Skills # A minimum of 10 years in a Refinery/Automation environment and minimum of 5 years in leading/supervising technical personnel. # Strong leadership and man-management skills. # Thorough understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to lead moderate sized projects. # Thorough understanding of all Refinery department needs in terms of information required for better running of the plant. # Solid understanding of plant automation applications, networks and distributed computing concepts and protocols # Solid knowledge of industrial automation and control system concepts, such as FIELDBUS, SCADA, DCS, HMI\xe2\x80\x99s, PLC\xe2\x80\x99s, OPC, and Data Historians. # Strong inter-personal skills: capable of writing proposals, acting as vendor liaison and able to deliver technical information in formal presentations. # Thorough understanding of IT/Automation technical standards, management practices and development methodologies.
