DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS

• Assume sole responsibility for assigned Piping engineering work scopes.
• Carry out Piping discipline work within a project team, supporting the project team for field development of oil and gas production facilities and renewable energies projects.
• Plan, budget, organize and control a segment of the Piping engineering deliverables for the project.
• Prepare Piping deliverables for all project phases of oil and gas and renewable industries.
• Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
• Provide direction and guidance on all Piping engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties.
• Liaise with the Client's Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
• Promote safe behaviour at all times and demonstrate "Safety Leadership".
• Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline.
• Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
• Assist in the coordination of all activities related to Piping engineering design.
• Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
• Record the lessons learned from previous contracts in order to implement corrections in future contracts.
• Plan and maintain manpower and other resources required for smooth operation of the Piping team for project and tender execution.
• Estimate man-hours and materials for delegated aspects of work.
• Conduct Engineering audits, risk assessment and training as required.
• Prepare and reviewing engineering studies, design drawings and documents.
• Plan, organize and supervise the activities assigned to Piping discipline subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area / project / tender of Piping engineering activity is carried out in accordance with department and project work instructions, procedures, process manual and project specific requirements, an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed on order to contribute to the continuous operations of the department.
• Support EPC engineering department and Piping Discipline initiatives.
• Travel short term or long term as per project requirements within or outside UAE adhere to DDWD travel or relocation policy as applicable.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in in design office or EPC for / FPSO/ FSO/FPU/MOPU/Offshore Sub-Stations.
• Experience with performing FEED design, FEED Verification & Detail Engineering for Piping Discipline.
• Delivered at least one 30,000MT project in design stage.
