Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor junior installers and apprentices, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality work.Technical Expertise:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex elevator systems, demonstrating deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural components.Project Management:
Plan project schedules, conduct site assessments, review blueprints, and interface with project managers and contractors.Safety & Compliance:
Enforce all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards, ensuring a safe work environment.Problem Solving:
Diagnose and resolve significant on-site challenges and complex technical issues independently.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Extensive experience as an elevator mechanic/installer. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications. Excellent decision-making, judgment, and complex problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, testing devices (ammeters, voltmeters). Leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. A strong commitment to safety.
