WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Retail Project Management Lead for EMEA Distributors, whose role is transforming and growing Nike mono-brand fleet, trough Global concepts! Role is based in Dubai focusing on Middle East territory.

This role be working on the development and scaling retail environments that reflect Nike\'s design ethos and improve the consumer retail experience.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

We expect you to set up and lead end to end store opening process, from design direction to execution. Managing multiple projects, you will establish direction and advance projects by collaborating with internal and external partners, to ensure project continuity across all areas of focus. You will be responsible to keep up to date relevant stakeholders on the latest status of projects, while being able to effectively elevate concerns in a timely and accurate manner.

You will collaborate with Retail Brand Creative team on a regular basis, making sure that designs we are implementing are following the latest innovations. You will work with local partner and agencies to support local solutions, when needed to meet specific consumer or market needs.

The shape of your day-to-day leadership will vary significantly, and therefore your style will have to adapt accordingly -seeking new and innovative ways to improve the efficiency of individual as well as collective thinking. We need you to be confident and influential in communicating and presenting design and design concepts to our internal and external partners.

You are passionate and connected to the creative industry - looking at the latest trends in architecture and design and this ever-expanding knowledge, network, and interest both inspires and drives your creative thinking.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role sits in our EMEA Distributors Retail team, reporting to Distributors NSP (Nike Stores Partnered) Director. From creative leadership of Retail Brand Creative team, right through to day-to-day liaison with Distributors Retail team, Partner Retail and Project teams, and architect agencies or other external creatives are the main collaborators.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of experience in architectural/interior design, or/and project management, with ideally a strong focus on consumer brands.
• Outstanding ability to apply and perform design skills, including drawing/sketching, conceptualization, CAD, 3D & interior design, visual presentation development & layout.
• Respect, proactivity and deep appreciation for diversity and equality in the workplace. Embodying Nike\'s culture and embrace the maxims that it stands for.
• Phenomenal communication skills that enable the team to flourish. This includes a strong ability to listen, and coach.
• Experience of collaborating effectively with other functions, departments, and external stakeholders - the ability to adopt when not directly owning key workstreams.
• Passion for reinventing the way we approach traditional ways of working. Not scared to challenge the past and in doing so push new creative ways of thinking and working.
• Great sense of judgment and decision-making. Emotionally intelligent with a growth mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to travel 30% within Middle East & Europe.
• Experience working in and passionate about sport, the sports lifestyle, and the culture around it.
