Job Summary

We are urgently seeking an experienced Offshore Appointed Person to oversee and manage all lifting operations involving offshore pedestal cranes. The ideal candidate must hold ADNOC approval for handling all types of lifts, including routine and non-routine (simple, complicated, and complex lifts). This role is critical to ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations in offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and execute all lifting operations involving offshore pedestal cranes in compliance with ADNOC and industry safety standards.

- Ensure all lifts (routine and non-routine) are performed safely, including pre-lift inspections, risk assessments, and method statements.

- Verify crane and lifting equipment certifications, ensuring they meet operational requirements.

- Coordinate with rigging teams, crane operators, and other offshore personnel to ensure seamless operations.

- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for lifting teams.

- Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, inspections, and incidents.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical or operational issues related to lifting activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Minimum 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

- At least 7 years of experience in oil & gas lifting operations.

- Minimum 5 years as an Offshore Appointed Person in offshore projects.

- Certification: Must be ADNOC-approved for offshore pedestal crane lifts (all types: routine, non-routine, simple, complicated, and complex).

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of offshore lifting regulations and best practices.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure in a challenging offshore environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12.00 - AED24.00 per month
