Lead Application Engineer - Drill Bit Designer

Join our Team! Baker Hughes has a new opportunity for Product Line Drill Bits to join the team in Saudi Arabia. Partner with the best As a Lead application Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring Baker Hughes can deliver flawless execution through involvement in pre-planning, job execution, and post-job analysis. As a Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing major bit design changes based on application analysis.
• Performing engineering analysis to each design including drilling simulation, Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
• Advising Application Engineers on technical features and drilling optimization solutions.
• Performing physical product evaluation of used bits to recommend development changes.
• Attending senior level customer meetings to promote new concept designs.
• Supporting market share increment through successful designs.
• Working closely with the local plant to increase manufacturing efficiency.
• Supervising and developing a training plan to junior design engineers - Developing an academic training course.

Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:

• Be an Engineering Graduate from an accredited university (Preferred Mechanical)
• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in PDC or Tricones designing (Mandatory)
• Have Drill bits previous experience is a big plus
