Job Summary:
The Chip Level Laptop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing laptop hardware issues at the chip level. This includes working with motherboards, processors, RAM, and other internal components to ensure laptops are functioning correctly.Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and Troubleshoot:
Identify hardware and software issues on laptops at the chip level.Repair and Replace Components:
Repair or replace faulty components such as motherboards, processors, RAM, and hard drives.Soldering and Desoldering:
Perform soldering and desoldering of chip-level components to resolve technical issues.Testing and Quality Checks:
Conduct thorough testing and quality checks after each repair to ensure proper functionality.Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of repairs and parts used.Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repair status and issues.Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Experience:
2-5 years of experience in chip-level laptop repair.Skills:
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing laptop hardware issues. Strong soldering and desoldering skills. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills.Work Environment:
This role typically involves working in a repair shop or service center. May require handling delicate components and using specialized tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
