. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of UK leasing structures, landlord and tenant obligations, and the drafting and negotiation of lease agreements for commercial properties.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to provide legal advice and support across all stages of the leasing process -- from due diligence and contract preparation to renewals, terminations, and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate
commercial lease agreements
, licences, and related property documents.
Advise on all aspects of
UK commercial property law
, including
landlord and tenant
matters.
Manage legal aspects of
property acquisitions, disposals, and lease renewals
.
Conduct
due diligence
on property portfolios and leasing arrangements.
Provide clear, practical legal advice to support business decisions and mitigate risk.
Liaise with external solicitors, agents, and regulatory authorities as required.
Ensure compliance with all relevant UK property legislation and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales).
Minimum
3-7 years' experience
in
UK property and commercial leasing law
.
Strong background in
commercial lease drafting and negotiation
.
Excellent understanding of
UK real estate and landlord/tenant frameworks
.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and commercial awareness.
