Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Supervises day to day operation activities within the area of responsibility.
2. Maintains daily timekeeping and staff records.
3. Monitors employee's productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
4. Ensures all machines are running fully to the rated capacity.
5. Ensures all productivity and efficiency targets are achieved.
6. Provides daily production and productivity figures to the management.
7. Establishes and maintains a positive and effective employee relationship.
8. Ensures all staff comply with the company's grooming standard.
9. Facilitates staff training.
10. Interacts and support with other departments as required.
11. Interacts with customers, courteously, promptly and ensure their requests and requirement are fulfilled.
12. Reviews daily movement activities of goods between customer and factory and ensure delivering full inventory of goods.
13. Effectively monitor and control daily staff attendance and duties.
14. Ensures the machines and equipment are kept neat and clean at all time.
15. Makes necessary maintenance reports; orders to Engineering team as required.
16. Spot checks cleaning and ironing quality of goods and ensure optimum quality adhering the SOP.
17. Assists in monitoring and controlling operational costs.
18. Complies with all Golden Sands Laundry health, safety & hygiene policy and procedure.
19. Performs other related duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Skills Required:
? Proven track record in Commercial Laundry, with minimum 5 years of experience, including 3 years as Team Leader or 2 years in a supervisory position
? Ability to communicate in English and Hindi
? Effective leadership
? Attention to detail, Self-Control, Integrity
? Manage and improve poor performance
? Self-Motivated
? Ability to understand and follow process
? Confident in ability
? Ability to achieve production targets
? Computer knowledge is an advantage
