Job Description
Key responsibilities
Supervise staff:
Oversee and coordinate the work of laundry attendants, including scheduling, training, and performance management.Manage operations:
Ensure smooth daily operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing of linens and textiles.Ensure quality and safety:
Implement and enforce quality control measures and ensure adherence to health and safety standards and regulations.Manage inventory:
Monitor inventory levels of detergents, supplies, and clean and soiled linens, and place orders as needed.Maintain equipment:
Ensure laundry machines and equipment are properly maintained, serviced, and in good working order.Coordinate with other departments:
Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping or procurement, to meet laundry needs and manage supply levels.Budget and reporting:
Prepare reports on laundry operations and productivity, and manage the department's budget to control costs.Problem-solving:
Address and resolve any operational issues or staff concerns promptly.Job Type: Full-time
