Job Description

FAB Master Laundry is looking to grow their Maintenance team and we are specifically looking for a person who has knowledge about Washing Machines, Dryers, Calender Machines.

Core Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair laundry equipment (washers, dryers, extractors, presses, folding machines) Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to laundry machines Replace worn or defective parts (belts, bearings, valves, motors, seals) Maintain proper operation of water, steam, gas, and electrical connections Lubricate moving parts and adjust machine settings as needed
Operational Support

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and service calls Coordinate with laundry staff to schedule repairs with minimal disruption Monitor machine performance and report recurring issues Maintain maintenance logs and service records Order and track spare parts and maintenance supplies
Safety & Compliance

Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols Ensure machines meet safety and operational standards Handle chemicals, detergents, and cleaning agents safely Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Facility & Utility Maintenance

Inspect and maintain laundry room infrastructure (vents, drains, water lines, steam lines) Ensure proper ventilation and lint control to prevent fire hazards Assist with minor building or facility maintenance related to laundry operations
Skills Often Required

Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Basic plumbing knowledge Ability to read manuals, schematics, and maintenance instructions Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Attention to detail and time-management skills
